My Year Abroad in Canterbury, England
This is a picture of the Cathedral from the campus. The UKC
campus is ontop of a hill and you can look down into the city. This is the view that I get to see everyday.
This is the Chaucer Arch. I don't know what the hell the significance
is, but it's awesome. It has something to do with Chaucer walking through it (obviously). When we take the bus
into town, they fit through that tiny opening. It's kinda freaky cause you think that the bus is not going to fit.
This is Ashley, Me and Michi on our "pub crawl" in town. We
only made it to 2 pubs. This is us at the Hobgoblin. A pretty cool and funky place. Good times.
This is Chaz and Laurie. Laurie is my neighbor. She
comes from the midlands in England. Chaz lives 2 houses away and lives about 2 or so hours away from the school.
They're both awesome people. This was at our 2nd attempt at a pub crawl in town.
This is Clark. He goes to Indiana University with Ashley.
He's a Philosophy/Political Science..theory...something major and a MATH minor LOL. He's quite an interesting fellow,
but he's cool none the less!!!
Yeah, so this is what i do best. DRINK! woot! And Clark is
telling me or someone to be quiet...or something.
This is Ashley. She goes to Indiana University. She's
studying English and History. And she likes Chocolate cake batter too! She's a really awesome person and i'm so
happy that she's my friend :)
This is Felicity. She's from Stranton Upon Avon (ughs...forgive
the spelling) also know as where Shakespeare was born! She's a first year here and is in almost all of my classes.
We're doing design and layout for the student film magazine. She's one crazy and awesome girl.
This is Michi. He's from Lingen, Germany. He's studying
at Aachen University. He's one awesome guy. He's going to come visit me this summer hopefully. He is studying
computer science. I'm Americanizing him. He says things like AWESOME, and YEAH MAN, etc :) he's teaching me German
(of course only the essential phrases ;-) )...the picture above this is what i made for him one night. He's my
Pirate :)
